Description
Polyolefin is a blend of polymers, primarily polypropylene and polyethylene. This combination gives the film its desirable characteristics, such as high clarity, flexibility, and shrinkability. The high clarity of the film makes it suitable for packaging items that require visibility and allows for easy product identification, barcode scanning, and visual appeal.
Our shrink films are available in thicknesses of 12, 15, 19 & 25 microns and width of your choice. The shrinkability of polyolefin film is activated by heat. When subjected to heat, such as through a heat tunnel or heat gun, the film undergoes a controlled shrinking process. This causes the film to tightly conform to the shape of the product, creating a tight and protective seal around it.
Polyolefin shrink film offers several advantages. It provides excellent protection against dust, dirt, moisture, and other environmental factors that can potentially damage the packaged items. Additionally, polyolefin shrink film is food-safe and meets regulatory requirements for direct contact with food items. It is widely used in the food, pharmaceutical and retail industry for packaging perishable goods, food products, beverages, tablets, board games etc.
